Are You Ready?

5 ROUNDS ACROSS MALAYSIA

There will be 5 rounds in the 2021 series, starting and ending at Morac Adventure Park Circuit in Langkawi. Other rounds will be in the Klang Valley and at Litar Lumbar Tangkak KBS, Gerisek, Johor.

24 RACES A WEEKEND

Each weekend will have 24 races in the two series and will give competitors exposure to two very different forms of kart racing – serious “spec” racing where engine specs are very rigidly controlled, and “open” racing where teams or tuners are able to put their tuning skills to good use to show how well they can prepare a kart and engine. It will also bring back to life a lot of old engines that cannot meet the “spec” regulations but are still very raceable.

ENTRY TO IAME SERIES ASIA FINALS

The winners of the IAME Series Malaysia will be given an entry to the IAME Series Asia Finals that will be run towards the end of 2021.

At the crux of the X30 Series’ international success is a phenomenal engine – the IAME X30 125cc RL TaG and it’s Cadet counterparts, the X30 Rookie 60cc RL TaG and X30 Water Swift 60cc RL TaG.

WORLD RACING MACHINE

Approaching the design, the challenge is to offer to the drivers a new package of performance, reliability, and lower exercise costs, compared to the current engine they use.
The bench is the 125cc Sudam, being the most simple and performing two stroke engine for Karting still produced.
The difficulty is not to increase mechanical complexity while providing the Sudam a worthy companion and successor.
Keeping into account three main technical points:

1- to avoid the power valve, possible source of problems and basically unknown by the target users,
2- to reduce the maximum rpm to 15.000, to increase durability
3- to guarantee a really exciting performance level,
we took the decision to increase the displacement to 175cc.
In order to maintain the crankshaft compact and light, we increased only the bore to 64mm, leaving the stroke at 54.4mm.
